This girl's so lovely, I took lots of photos of her and her eggs :B
Unfortunately I really don't have a great lighting setup (especially when I'm trying to just snap a few quick pics to minimize stress at times like this) so my shots without flash, though I generally like the effect better, have funky colors. I've tweaked the levels in this quite a bit but I think in the end it represents her colors well.

She just makes small eggs - last year I had a miami-phase female of the same size who laid GIANT eggs (seriously, biggest corn eggs I've ever seen - not so much wider as of normal width but twice as long!).
I don't know why but it seems to be her biology, and I think the eggs just tend to be too small to support the babies well. This time there are two separate "conjoined" eggs to boot! O-o
