A former weightlifter, Marco uses his massive strength to knock his foes down senselessly and hold them down for the three count. His famous match recently was against the rising star of the time, Douglas. He could sense the fear in the newbie. All it took was a well-placed suplex that ended the match.

Nowadays, The Bear is half-retired, but not because of his age or any loss of passion in the sport. It’s because his daughter needed his company. Marco was a single father, and his career was meant to support his daughter in any way possible. But going from place to place around the world meant that Marco didn’t have time to spend with her, even with her coming with him. So now his presence in the ring is only for special events so he can spend more time watching his beloved daughter grow up.

Marco and his daughter currently reside near the woods, where he works as a lumberjack. While many view this as a job, Marco sees it as a hobby. He particularly enjoys constructing things from wood, especially cabins. One night, however, Marco's daughter was about to be attacked by a bear before Marco threw himself towards it to defend her. Marco was injured but not before putting the bear down. A month later, Marco felt his blood boiling out of nowhere as the full moon approached. He was transforming into the same bear that attacked him. Before losing control, Marco ran from home to protect his daughter from himself. But the beast knew where she lived and traced himself back. The bear soon found her, ready to be eaten... but it didn't. Marco's strength wasn't just his physique, it was his willpower. Just like how he stopped the rabid bear from attacking his daughter, Marco stopped his curse from doing the unthinkable and took back control for her sake. The bear submitted to Marco's might and has become his ability to change into a bear at will. Marco's relationship with his daughter has become so strong since that night that she's not even scared of Marco's beastly form anymore. She enjoys being with her bear dad out in the woods sitting by a campfire watching the stars.

Maybe Douglas forgot the memo, but he has since challenged Marco in the ring once again, mentioning that he has “changed” as well. Something about this challenge has piqued Marco’s interest and decided to accept it. If Douglas couldn’t handle “Marco The Bear”, what makes him think he can take on “Marco The Werebear”?
