So I did a video, but really chose the wrong format orientation, should have gone horizontal vs landscape with this set, so most of it is just an up close waist down video until the later bits of the video where I am forced to sit down in order to get myself free. Should I still post this video to the YouTubes???
Also, in more annoying news, I damaged the Jones fursuit head and lost her nose ;( I’ve been using Jones lately as she is easier to pack than Selah, and fits into a backpack/camera bag. She’s easier to take places than Selah especially places where there’s a hike in in a public trail like environment. A regular hiker in the public would never know they are walking past a chronic nature introvert shy wolfgirl about to get head to toe muddy.

Obvious danger???
I have been exploring swamps and wetlands for many years, have formal rescue training CERT-SAR ( Citizen Emergency Response Team/training-Search and Rescue) and have worked with costal rescue groups along our coastlines.
As for Hookworm, it hasn’t been documented in my climate/region.
The pictured location is an active tidally controlled area that lacks prolonged standing water, not ruling out bacteriological activity by any means, but the flow of water in the area would assist in decreasing such issues.

That very spot is deeper than I am tall, but has a viscosity that prohibits my complete sinking.
Oooh, quicksand. I have been involved with that a number of times. If you know what you are doing that is simply a nuisance.
Don’t believe everything you see on tv/hollywood/the internet. Quicksand isn’t nearly as dangerous as TV makes it out to be.
