Heh yeah I know it's been ages since I last posted any foodporn heh... so thought it long over due... so allow me ta present m'own lil' version of an open faced melt...

ingredients:
2 slices of bread, toasted
condiments (may vary ta yer preferences but fer this I used a combo of mayonaisse, mustard an ketchup
2 slices of pepperjack cheese
4 slices of american cheese
4 quarter pound beef burger patties
2 eggs

directions:

toast the bread then spread with condiments then lay on the slices of pepperjack cheese as the burgers are cookin' then when they're done add the first burger then top it with a slice of the american cheese then add the second burger and cheese an while the skillet is still hot simply crack the 2 eggs an let'em cook sunny side up then top the melts with that... add whatever additional seasonings/garnishes ya might like... I gave this pair a few shakes'a nature's seasonings and a light pinch'a chives fer flavoring but feel free ta flavor them however ya like... serve as a hearty meal for yerself or as ya can see it makes two so ya can have the other served ta someone else ta enjoy... hope ya like this {:)
