There are other tools that might also be useful but since I do all my coloring work with COPIC markers I needed a pen with ink that won't smear once the marker pigment is applied. This does a great job in that respect. The brush pen in particular is great because of the extremely fine lines I can get while still getting thick lines in the same stroke.
