it cannot even spell subtle.
all the awesome subtle colour details are GONE. the blues in the main window, most of the subtle shading in the bottles in the foreground, the light shades here and there. and the coloured pencil i used over the water colours stands out like a Leper hooker in a nun convention...

the markings on the windows are alchemical symbols for the elements
In order are earth, water, fire, air, spirit or ether

On the cauldron in order are the symbol for gaining power or uplifting power from tibet, one of the alchemical seals standing for the great art, and a pentagram which in alchemy was symbolic of the elements relationships

on the table under the cauldron are more symbols of fire which provide the mystical heat for the boiling of the mysterious ramen noodle flavour. could it be shrimp? Beef? Chicken? Unknowable flavours from beyond the pale?
