Old art (2021) based on a Digimon roleplay story, and a sequel to this drawing. Jazarichmon has fulfilled his duty as a legendary dragon and sacrificed himself to save the city. Sparrowmon, his younger sister, gives him one last hug while Jazarich disappears, slowly dissolving into faint blue light. Both of them know this sacrifice was necessary, to protect the citizens of the city from a nuclear blast, but that doesn't make saying goodbye any easier.

I experimented with different types of lighting/shading for this one, but I think the final result looks a bit too cartoony for this scene.
