Ben Iscariot was a member of Zeppelions squad during their military days. The two shared a friendly rivalry, with Leonas leadership constantly being tested by the impulsive and egotistical Ben.

In reality, Ben was a narcissist with a massive inferiority complex. And when Leona was chosen for the super soldier program over him, his jealousy caused him to defect from the military completely. Instead, he sought out the very villains he fought, trading information for cybernetic implants to put him on the level of any super.

He now works as a mercenary and bounty hunter, taking sadistic glee in putting the very supers he wanted to be down.
