Orex are members of tiny omnivorous reptilian Fatikelij Species native to Rida, Pelagia, Zelsia and the Jel-Archipelago. They fill the ecological niche left behind by hedgehogs after the Ascension Event. Similar to hedgehogs, they can curl into a tight ball in which their entire body is protected by spines. Unlike in hedgehogs, these spines are not hairs, but rather long, thin hard scales that serve the same function.
