We return with the next chapter of: “The Traveling Buddies”.
After falling into Wolf’s trap, Fox has fall into Wolf’s hands again, while Jerald, Montel and Link are trapped in a round cornered cell.
As they find a loose block for an exit, suddenly, they start hearing noises:
Jerald: Did you guys hear that?
Then, a block falls off, and a head pops in.
Trio: Kyle!
Kyle: Guys? What are you doing here?
Montel: What else? Rescuing you of course! …Though we might need to be rescued too.
Kyle: Great, you fell into his trap!
Link: So, it seems, anyway, do you know where Fox is?
Kyle: I wish, but my guess he must be at the dungeons.
Link: Damn, well, let’s get these blocks out of here and go out to find him.
Kyle: I don’t recommend that, it might be another trap waiting for us to trigger it, we’ll just have to get out of here.
Jerald: But what about Fox? We can’t leave him behind.
Kyle: I know, Jerald, I don’t want to leave him either, but we have no choice. But I promise, when we return with the whole pack, Wolf and his gang are going to get it, come, let’s go, go, go!
Meanwhile…
Jason: It’s supper time! Everyone to the table!
As the baddies go to the dining room, Wolf brings Fox.
Wolf: Take a seat.
As he sits down obediently, Fox feels a bit uncomfortable sitting in the middle of his enemies.
Wolf: Don’t worry, they won’t hurt you, as long as you stay by my side, I’ll make sure no one dare to mess with you.
Fox: Well, where’s the bread and water?
As everyone heard that, they all laugh.
Wolf: Heh heh, come ‘on, Fox, what kind of meal is that? Jason, show him what he’s going to get instead of that dumb stuff.
Jason then brings a couple of plates to the table, then one by one, he removes the lid to show what’s inside.
Fox: HOLY—Is this for real?! For me?!
Wolf nods in response, as Jason tells him what he’s seeing on the table.
Jason: We have a fresh pork chop, covered in sweet apple sauce with green peas for our pork to lie down. Followed by a bowl of tasty mashed potatoes. And to accompany this delightful plate, bread sticks, showered with fresh garlic.
Fox throws a wolf whistle to it.
Jason: AND, for a sweet, sweet finale, a slice of our tasty cake covered with pink frosting and a cherry on top. Bon Appetit!
Fox: This is unbelievable, you’re feeding me all these?
Wolf: Why? Is it too much?
Fox: No, but I’m surprised for such hospitality, why?
Wolf: Well, Fox, only one thing I can tell you, be prepared, cause there’s more you need to know from us, so, enjoy your meal, my dear Fox, you’ll soon wish to stay here.
Fox: Okay…I don’t what are you up to, but if I have to eat all of these, then…bottoms up!
And with all courage, he starts chowing down everything Jason offer at the table.
Don Karnage: Hmph, where in tarnation is Drago? His meal’s going to get cold!
Wolf: Urgh, forget him, he misses his meal, not my problem.
Tavi: I hope they didn’t put poison into any of those.
I sure hope so too, Tavi.
What Wolf and his pack are up to? Would Fox be safe trapped in the cave? Can the other guys escape and reunite with their pack to return and save Fox?
