The lead detective at the D.I.A (demon investigation agency) and the one who was assigned as the caretaker and partner of cassidy when hes not running around being a hero. as caretaker it's his job to make sure cassidy doesn't get into danger but as detective it's his job to respond to crimes believed to be committed by demons and investigate them to bring those responsible to justice.

Due to his job he abandoned his name and took up the identity of the man in black, because of this no one but him knows his true name
