A dumb concept I've had rocking in my head for some time now.

So, I've met some people in the Brony Fandom who don't think of themselves as being a Furry. By my own definition, I'd consider a furry as someone with an interest for anthropomorphic animals - not exclusively the humanoid, upright kind of furry (like Judy Hops or Renamon). Any animal that can talk and emote in a way similar to humans? It's furry media to me. It's a pretty broad definition, I'll admit, and I have been pretty rude to those people who do not call themselves furries, even if by my own definition, they qualify. Nowadays, I see the tag as just being something you yourself have to identify with.

I've met other people who do not call themselves this despite liking Centaurs. Like, REALLY liking them. Their defense is just that they're not furries cause they're not entirely animals, the top part is human - or, at least, humanoid.
