My first reaction was that Nick was using food as a psychological crutch to help him forget the anxiety regarding the meeting with his father. Although I am not sure if this is a new tactic Nick is using, or one that he re-visits once and a while.

Wow, 25 protein shakes for Gervin all at once? Maybe they don't have a right to criticize how much Nick is eating after all lol.

I do think that Nick and Gervin make the perfect couple exactly for the reason that Vlad states. They have strengths and weaknesses that complement each other. Nick has a higher level of intelligence but not the physical commanding presence that Gervin has. And of course that means Gervin is the opposite, he has a powerful muscular body with fighting skills but isn't as quick witted as Nick is.

I love reading your descriptions of how muscular some of these characters are, especially those that train in the Gym like Vlad and Gervin. I wish we could get an artist to draw some of this amorous literary reflections and bring them onto the canvas for us to gawk at. That would be a good time lol.

Haha, I thought Nick was going to say he wanted to watch them have sex rather than fight at the end, but he says he wants to learn how to fight. That's cool too, he will certainly need to know how to do it for the coming battle with his father. A war only he can win.

To be fair, Gervin has long suspected that Nick was a punching bag for his own father. That's why he sends so many cocktails into himself at once. And yes: the cougar and the dragon are very muscular. Think of Zudrec and Vlagg from Captive comic series, and you'll realize who I wrote the images of Gervin and Vlad from.

Yup Yup I thought they might be inspired by the characters from Captive, especially the wolf character's perfectly proportioned, wide and massive chest, which I think is a true staple of the entire series. No wonder we are all addicted to it, haha. But it's great to see some more lupine muscle in your story, it adds a spice of excitement and delicacy to the reading. Nick sure is a lucky dude to constantly get to stare at it lol.
