Groundskeeper/Botany teacher Jody Sprautt
There's been some poké-academy thingy going around here for a while, and I think there's no problem with me throwing in my own contribution.
Here we have Jody Sprautt, the groundskeeper and botany teacher of the academy. He used to have aspirations of being a rock star. Hilltop houses with fifteen cars, berry dealers on speed dial, all that magic. At the time, his band, "Master Balls," was doing well, with him singing and playing guitar. They would play to full auditoriums and bars, and everybody always cheered the second the band would appear on stage. Sadly, it was not meant to be, as the band fell apart in only a six months.
With no more band, he fell back on his second passion: gardening. (Gee whiz, a grass pokémon likes gardening, who would've guessed?) And it was through his admirable work that he managed to land a job as academy groundskeeper, plus a single period teaching botany after saying the right words to the right people, and he's pretty happy with that, being back with the youth that used to admire his guitar skill and singing voice.
He still sometimes bitterly laments over his old life as an aspiring rock-star, though (he's pictured here in the midst of some of his lamenting, in fact). He keeps his old guitar in his closet, though, and some nights he can be heard playing it on the grandstand.
Yeah, I like how he came out. Don't you? Maybe someday I'll draw the other Master Balls band members.
