I won’t lie and admit that matchlock (snap matches) armed samurai have been a deep fascination and influence to me over the years.

For a long time I’ve been contemplating giving the dinosaur in my ‘Witches of Snow Cap’ some early firearms with nitch innovative designs/concepts inspired by many hours of my own online and book research on the topic.

The armour itself is more based on Lamellar (leather or iron plate) as well as a Gamberson undercoat for padding/warmth in the colder seasons.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around good designs and culture for these critters and some people have been very helpful suggesting names for this silly dinosaur species.

Ikardar and Vaurcerian....

You know I do have sketches for a group of these dino gals that have fur and more muscular in nature that come from the more fridged northern region...

Kinda wanna use both names but then that still leaves me missing an overall species name.... Unless I just wanna call them by their regional breeds?
