It was the fifth month of her pregnancy. Mia was becoming quite large and rounded. Her breasts were growing and swelling with milk everyday. Clothes that actually fit were becoming harder and harder to come by. Various shirts, pants, dresses, and other garments had to be custom made for her so she could actually have something to wear. Also, ever since Mia told Jacob about her pregnancy she never heard from him. There were no calls, no letters, not even a single instant message while she was on the internet. She had figured that Jacob no longer wanted to be with her. One day, one of the servants came to Mia and told her that there was someone that wanted to see her. She had gone from her room and traveled to the foyer where all guests waited for their host (or hostess) to arrive. In the foyer, she saw someone she didn’t expect. It was Jacob. She wanted to ask why he was here but before she could say anything, Jacob asked for her not to speak but to listen. He talked about how upset he was from not being told about her pregnancy and how he felt hurt on not being trusted with such information. But, he also told her on how insensitive it was of him to have left they way he did and how being away from her for so long made him feel empty and alone. He apologized for everything he did and he stated on how he didn’t expect to be forgiven. He just wanted her to know that he was sorry and that he hopes she one day finds someone that makes her happy. Even if that person wasn’t him. She stood there quietly for a moment and said to him in a very quiet voice “I forgive you”. They both hugged each other with incredible exuberance. Though the hug was a bit awkward due to Mia’s size, they didn’t care. Mia began to cry again but this time they were tears of joy.
