Squawk Squad vs. Awoo Crew (1/4)
JT the red wolf and Logan the seagull are fledgling streamers trying to find their “big break.” When a company called FatBit entices them with a new sponsorship if they use a new wearable tech armband, they gladly accept, having no idea just how BIG they’ll get…

Don't be fooled. If there is someone who is an absolute pleasure to call a friend, that is
youcrazyforthis (AKA JT). He started uploading stories on this site not long after I joined this site, but I had —unknowingly— already been reading his delightful narratives on other Websites. And even back then his contributions would stand out from the rest. The way he uses words to paint a picture of scenes, and characters, and sequences of events reminds me of a masterful painter, laying confident strokes on a canvas. His stories are fatastically evocative, rich with descriptions, and rarely dull... he knows how to lure you into reading sentence after sentence, paragraph after paragraph, page after page. Seriously, if you haven't read his work, I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH.
But more than that, JT has been a true inspiration in my life. He's been through a lot in life, and despite it all, he has this relentless dog-like drive, that propell him forward and keep him going. He is loyal to a fault, and kind exceptionally kind. Having had the opportunity to chat with him, he is humble and grounded: he is true to his principles and genuinely wants to make a the world a better place to live.
I met JT via comments in this site, and over all these years, I've gotten to know him better. And I have learned so much from him. His stories have helped me as an asexual-aromantic, to understand better what allosexual relationships are, and how couples express their love in many different ways. He has helped through so many slow days at work, letting my mind wander off into a world of anthros during my breaks. He is such a positive influence on the community and speaks for the noble cause of making writing and writers more visible! And that is something I pronounce myself in favour of!
This story was, in fact, a way for me to celebrate JT's influence on my life and possibly the lives of many others. I wanted to allude to the story that got me hooked on his narrative style and his prowess with prose: so I pitched to him to do a spiritual sequel to his story "FatBit Testing (Weight Gain Story Commission). I offered to illustrate the story, and much to my delight, he agreed. Of course, like the total good boy that he is, he finished that story within a month, and it took me twice that long to just make the rough sketches for the story. And Tzin being Tzin, bit more than he could chew. Suffice it to say, that I had to rein in my ambition and —thanks to the unfathomable patience of this crimson canine—, after two and a half years, I managed to finish my side of the collaboration.
I really hope people like this project. We really did pour a lot of love and passion into it, and we can only hope it captures how furries can do big things when we work together.
