We take bit of a jump forward. Geirolf old wolf finally arranges the adoption of Lucia from the streets of Whiterun.
Went out of my comfort zode to draw Lucia.
I rarely draw humans. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It had been at least couple of months. Hard work had finally paid off as I stepped back to the streets of Whiterun. It was like nothing had changed.
Underneath Gildgergreen I found her. Her eyes staring up at the leafless barren branches, those tiny hands grasping for her hungry stomach. As she saw me, her eyes lit up.
“You’re back!” Lucia shouted and jumped up to greet me.
“Shall we go get something to eat?” I suggested and guided the girl to get a fresh bowl of soup at the Bannered mare. I could sense there were people wondering what I was up to. It made no difference. Right now I had to make sure she was well fed and prepared.
“This is so good!” she murmured as she just barely swallowed a spoonful before shoving in more. I pulled out a paper. She paused, looked at the text and then looked away. “I’m not really good at reading.”
I chuckled. “I guess you’ll have plenty of time to work on it in Solitude.”
In shock, her eyes shot up at me. I gave a nod of confirmation. “I purchased the Proudspire Manor within the city walls.”
She dropped to spoon to the bowl. “I’m leaving Whiterun?” her voice sounded shivering and weak, almost like a whisper.
“I hope it’s not a problem. I have it already arranged.” I explained as simply as I could. “From this day forward, I will be your legal guardian. If you don’t mind it, of course.”
Without hesitation, she hopped up and ran to give me a hug. “Father!”
People turn to look at us again. The innkeeper gave me a smile and a nod.
After Lucia was finished, we walked out.
Brenuin was standing around the market place, doing his usual begging. He waved me the moment he saw us come out. “Shall we grab a drink, for old times sake?”
“Not right now.” I said and tossed him a coin. “Need to take my daughter to her new home.”
He shot a surprised, almost envious look at the little blond imperial girl.
“Oh?” He muttered to the child. “Knew ya’d be going to places. Good luck, girl.”
She smiled at him and bid the old beggar a kind farewell.
And so began our long journey to Solitude. We hired a carriage to make it less painless. Lucia did not complain one bit even though I could tell she was getting extremely exhausted.
But the look on her face once we entered through the city gates, made it all worth it.
Our home.
