Here's another one! I've still got a few designs left in me. I thought it would be fun to take a few of the ideas that seem to have gone over well recently and apply them selfishly to a new boot design with myself in mind. This one has a number of traits that suit my own preferences particularly well; the leather is quite soft and comfortable with just a little bit of wrinkle to it, while still hugging the paw and leg tightly enough for a nice fit... I really like buckles, but there's an inside zipper for easy on and off too... the sole has a light, slightly rugged tread for grip but is thin enough that you can still feel what you're walking on. I went with the same idea seen previously in the London boot and Idrin sandal, of the full sole that keeps the toes cushioned and protected, but leaves the tops of the toes open for comfort and display. I'm deciding it's a balance I quite like, and some of you dear viewers have seemed to agree. :) I gave this boot some blue piping to help personalize it for myself too, though obviously that trim could come in just about any color that one might prefer.

I think this is a pair of boots that an anthro Dorey would probably be seen wearing fairly often, definitely a favorite of mine. They're one of the pairs I'd gravitate toward if I were going to go on a stompy rampage too, I think. To this end however I will note that I am a very friendly and gentle dragon, so the only victims of stompy Doran rampages tend to usually be dry leaves in the autumn and empty milk cartons being squished for recycling.
