Went for a drive today, Car and I agreeing to follow the winding road along a river until we found what we were looking for, no idea what that might be. Landed in a wildlife reserve. Not too far from the beaten path, truly (just off Highway 9 in Snohomish county, WA), though the beaten path is not at all how we got there.
