I sincerely don't know what it is. Found it in notes for August 2023. Tried to find something in the internet, but no use, so maybe it's my poem, but I think I heard this as a song somewhere and it's just a translation. So let it be UNKNOWN.

Heh, I like this irony. Basically a satire of how society works, with people "straving for mere coins", and only the "idiot" being actually the one that dares to stand out from the current and devote his life to his cloudy dreams (if I understand it well).
"outlandishly grand" seems an interesting synonym for the daily crowd's routine. As if supposing a kind of strange abnormality in these very daily behaviours...
And really, that's strange how unfamiliar may seem sometimes a thing we have written a year or even a while ago. Sometimes we become a version of ourselves that exist only in a specific flitting moment, and when this moment passes, we cannot understand again our past actions or didn't remember them at all : )

Yes! It's so true! I still in doubts if it was some song or it was my own creativity and thinking, and it was less than one year ago.
And I agree, very interesting irony about all this stuff around us all this time. I actually doubt I'd make it on my own, I'm not talented and not creative enough for it xD
