anyone have an eaiser way to make the tiny detail scales rather than by drwing every single one? I think I'm going to keep going the way I had been buuuuuut I am eventually going to draw something of someone with some SPAM and I figuer he'd ought ot get something with quality.

You could try making a small area of scales outside of the drawing, then copy/paste that little bit repeatedly.
Instant scales.

See now that's what I was thinking but then they doin't point in the directions I wan them to... see look around the eyes... I think I'll do that for the larger areas though...

Can't you use the whip tool to select things, then rotate them? You could make rotations of the scales, then copy past the ones you need.
It's long, but faster than doing each one by itself. You might still have to do edges by hand.

No idea what the whip tOol is... Maybe whem i get my computer back ill do it
