Under the moonlight of a clear night in Castletown, the queen of Mirage Castle laid still in her bed. She dreamed of the one who saved her and her friends from the dreadful simulation they were trapped in. Somehow, someway... despite all of the terrible things she did within that place, someone took pity. She saw them beyond the screen albeit briefly. She tried to recall their name but she couldn't for the life of her. Even though this person felt so far away they also felt so close. She loved them. She wanted to give her everything to them and live out her life with them.
As she slept reality changed around her, a dream being fulfilled in the waking world. Her belly rounded out, suddenly occupied with a little life that she imagined. Her chest swelled with life-giving sustenance, a natural side effect. The moon outside shown bright through her window, highlighting her motherly form in all of its glory. This was her fantasy... but for Monika, fantasies could instantly become reality.
Opening her eyes, she looked down at herself. She already knew what had transpired. While it was wishful thinking that these feelings could be real someday, she was content with the facsimile of it for now. "Someday I'll find you. And then... what I'm feeling now, you'll be able to feel as well."
