As the sun goddess Amaterasu fought the darkness that threatened to swallow the land, it would take the strength of all to drive back the shadow. And so, Argent took up the cause of the sun, intent on doing what he could to bring light back to the world.

This gorgeous piece was done for me by  Nievaris in the style of the game Okami. I loved the game when it came out, and it is still one of my favourites. This was in part due to its distinctive and stunning visuals (though the whole concept and brush-based gameplay certainly helped!), so I had to grab a piece for myself of Argent in that style.
