Officially Joined the COVID Club
Well, it was inevitable that I would catch it eventually, but honestly way to hit a man when he's down. I was trying so hard not to miss any days--In five years, I haven't EVER missed a day (I got flu once but still attended lectures via live recordings). On the upside I get to have some guilt-free time off to sort myself out and relax for once. On the downside I have to make up a week later in the year when the roster I'm missing will be at it's busiest due to seasonal peaks. P:

Oof, my sympathies. I'd managed to avoid the 'rona until last December, when I picked up the bug on an airplane. I normally mask whenever I am around people, but I slipped mine off a couple of times to eat -- last time I'll make that mistake!

Ahhh no! You held out so long! In planes it seems almost impossible to avoid if anyone at all gets aboard with symptoms. :(( It makes the idea of a holiday so risky hhh. I think I'll be wearing my mask more often now too to be safe ^^; I was just starting to get comfortable..
Life really throws everything at you at once huh @.@ I lived with someone who works in a school then had family members in nursing homes so I've had it three times despite rarely every going anywhere myself :s Be sure to drink lots of fluids and I hope you can rest some more! You really deserve a break...
When it rains it pours omg, YES. T__T My university mandates 5 days at home from the day you test positive, so I'm pretty much chillin for 5 days via ~fate~. Hopefully it's not too painful to make up the time later :"D I think the rest actually will do me a lot of good rn tho
we love when fate intervenes to give you almost a week off lmaooo well hey just a good excuse to veg out and pound water. hopefully your symptoms aren't too bad!!! last semester i told my friend i wanted to get sick to have an excuse to miss class and then a week later i had the worst cold of my life and it was miserable so hopefully you aren't in the same position :3
