Honestly? This is using my IA style and although price scales with complexity this would have ran for $40... well under my normal commission price.

(which hasn't been available for years, which starts at $100 though generally goes between $150-$200)

So to simply commission a piece like this outright it would be $40 or $100?

If you want an IA drawing, which suffers a lower quality than a full commission it's $40. If you want a full commission, it would be impossible to get since I am currently closed.

So $40 if I open a new batch of IA drawings.

I don't see how that would help anyone really. It's not like FA has the option to log onto the site via a SFW option. If you've got filters turned off, your screwed if you check this site from work. Most people on the site don't use the mature or adult filters, especially the ones that view your mature/adult art regularly . If they're visiting the site while at work, they're asking for trouble.

I agree with you there... but I also have to take into consideration that this is not the usual venue for auctions and that this is taking place all the way through friday and some people may very well want to keep track during work hours~

I don't mean to turn this into a debate/argument. With an ending time of 7pm on friday, i don't see how people can't just wait till they are done with work to check on the auction. Last time i checked most work places frown upon people checking on things like auctions while at work, no matter where the auction takes place. If people want to check up on it so badly they can go on a break or do so during lunch on their phone or go home to do so. It's not like your ending the auction at a bad time either. Chances are that the auction will reach a plateau that only a select few people would be able to win.

Technically there is no "good" time to end the autcion. You can state that a majority of people would probably be finished work by the time the auction is due to end, but then there is the international times to consider. I for one am in Australia. Others may be in other parts of the world. It's probably not likely, but very possible that the last few left bidding could very well get caught in the middle of the busiest hour of their work day, depending on their job and where they live.

As for checking at work, I don't really see how much of a problem it would be to spend about 3 minutes to log onto a site, check the currents bids, place a bid if needed and then log off. In most offices, these days, each person has their own computer and a small degree of privacy (their cubicle or even whole office). Unless the person is working at a day-care center where it is possible that little kids might be exposed to whatever is on the computer screen, or the company has a very strict policy regarding internet surfing, I doubt there would be a serious issue for suck a minor thing. However, as I do not have such a job, I may be entirely wrong. So don't quote me on that.

Then there is also the option of possibly asking someone to act on their behalf. Perhaps if the person knows they will not be able to get on the site for some reason, they could ask a friend to place bids for them, up to a set limit.

If there is one i have no idea what it is. It would be neat if you could still go on a page that has adult work on it, in case it's an auction. Just have the picture disabled or something when the page loads.
