Patreon Activity – April 2024
The theme for doodle/sketch requests on Patreon this month if opted in was depicting characters in lingerie/living the nightlife!

A lovely bunch of bigs were made over the course of April; I hope they were enjoyed quite well! =w=
Having margin and getting ahead in my personal schedule for the month were key to keeping a good mindset. When unexpected things happened, my being ahead absorbed those things without killin’ me.
I still have a lot of classes to go so I will try and focus on those before devoting time to personal modeling projects. I’m sincerely trying to treat these online classes like a college class and do them all, even if I don’t feel the topics are relevant. Because who knows if they’ll teach something highly beneficial that could be applied elsewhere.
I’m finding my way around the updated code pretty well. It’s very helpful to have the previous version of Minecraft I worked with, 1.15, to figure out the new variable names and logic Forge/Mojang have done.
I feel really good about the work so far and hopefully I can have all three Nincada mobs added next month: Zergling Nincada, Raptor Zergling Nincada, and Crackling Nincada.
Still, I plan on inheriting my mom’s house eventually, so I want to help preserve its life.
My mom also had to have me do her taxes and when it came to what she owed, I had to lend her $2,000 so she could pay it; Yet another big setback financially. -.-‘
I’m also attempting to seed our lawn again for the 4th time. The previous three times it ALL died. The last time it died because mom turned off the underground sprinklers without me knowing. New grass needs lots of water, so after a few weeks….
I didn’t seed all areas needed because I want to see if what I do this time actually survives before doing any more. If it survives, I’ll know what to do for next year. Because seeding materials is expensive.
I finally got someone to look at my building and give thoughts on how doable it is to put a doorway through a brick exterior wall. It does look doable. And the guy side it would probably cost about $5,000 to have done.
I had been thinking it would cost $10-15,000 to have it done so hearing a number so much lower was encouraging. The doorway is the most financially involved part of the renovation work. I don’t expect the rest of the work that needs to be done to exceed $5,000.

A better month
April was probably the best month of the year so far. There were a several big things that happened but I think because I managed my schedule with margin, I was able to mentally get through it all in good spirits.Having margin and getting ahead in my personal schedule for the month were key to keeping a good mindset. When unexpected things happened, my being ahead absorbed those things without killin’ me.
Modeling
My classes in 3D modeling have been very exciting. I’m far enough along that I could begin making character models, especially chibi ones. Which who knows, I might get an inkling to do.I still have a lot of classes to go so I will try and focus on those before devoting time to personal modeling projects. I’m sincerely trying to treat these online classes like a college class and do them all, even if I don’t feel the topics are relevant. Because who knows if they’ll teach something highly beneficial that could be applied elsewhere.
Minecraft modding
I have finally started adding the first mob to my modification for 1.20.1: Zergling Nincada. This is always my first mob I add when updating the modification to a new version. As it is my simplest mob without any fancy features.I’m finding my way around the updated code pretty well.
House work
Part of the siding on one side of the house is falling off, so we need to get it replaced. It will be expensive but I have money set aside to be able to handle it thankfully. The money is intended for the renovation work I need to have done at my building, so that will be a setback on that front.Still, I plan on inheriting my mom’s house eventually, so I want to help preserve its life.
My mom also had to have me do her taxes and when it came to what she owed, I had to lend her $2,000 so she could pay it; Yet another big setback financially. -.-‘

Building renovation work
Work is still getting done on getting supports for previously cracked window but my boss at my newspaper job has been handling all the logistics of that. Eventually it will come into play I need to do something and pay for some things, but so far it has gone well.I finally got someone to look at my building and give thoughts on how doable it is to put a doorway through a brick exterior wall. It does look doable. And the guy side it would probably cost about $5,000 to have done.
