a bit of lore I guess: basically this was the language that was spoken by the Patchwork Pals from around 3000 B.s.D (Before Snowfox Death) to 19 B.s.D. starting 20 B.s.D, a year before the switch of languages, a new language was proposed that was a syllabary and didn't use Latin. 19 B.s.D was when the switch occured, but wasn't complete until 18 B.s.D, a year later. since then, Patchanary remained the former language once spoken by the Patchwork Pals.
