As everyone knows, Plants and Zombies have been bitter rivals practically since the dawn of time, but while its well known zombies like to use their free time to participate in their favorite passtime of devouring brains...few have asked the question "what do plants do with their free time"? Such things have remained a mystery...until today!

When plants aren't busy battling their undead adversaries, they tend to have more...indulgent battles~ They bulk up their bodies, gorging on the most potent of fertilizers and plant food to grow, causing the knock-on effect of their bodies absorbing more and more power from the sun, an exponential means of growth, and one that certainly has an effect on their bodies~ They grow goofy, and taut, stuffed to the brim!
Leaves becoming bouncy, sunken, nubby limbs~
Eyeballs swelling and pushing out, sometimes even becoming unevenly bloated~
Cheeks swelling and squeeezing against their newfound giga-eyes, with their mouths becoming these goofy, puffy smiles~

Nothing is spared on their bodies, everything grows! Once they've reached a good starting size, they then put on mawashis, garbs made to provide even more comfort and pressure, never tearing, yet always squeezing tighter and tighter~
With these, they are ready to rumble! Clashing against eachother, slamming together constantly, there are no rules and no winning or losing, their is only the ecstasy and bliss caused by feeling their forms impact eachother, where every inch of rubbery plantflesh is incredibly sensitive~ In this state, every moment is one of pure, unfathomable happiness~

Eventually, once duty calls, they will return to their original size...then again, they very well might not~ After all, in this state, it is all net positives, they are faster, stronger, more durable, and it does wonders for their emotional health! Just one would be enough for defense, but with a whole lawns worth of goofy, building-sized sumo plants? Why, they'd be unstoppable, and would certainly be on the path to even bigger, tighter days of bliss~

I got into a PvZ kick a couple months back and drew this during that time, I decided I'm gonna post it now both because I remembered this and LOVE it, and because I wanted to write up something indulgent again >w>
(Also yes that gigantic Snow Pea in the back is a plant-ified version of my sona)
