Got two books on cartooning from my grandmother, and I liked the style one drew animals in. I used their base guide with my own twist. Only used the guide as a reference for the pose with the scythe, and then picked it up from there.

Kyte - The Pocket Foxbunny (I also got pastels in a nifty wooden box with Kyte and art related quotes laser engraved on the front. Yeah, it's awesome. Will probably never get around to taking pics though. Also, I'm still working on that animation, it's just really hard so I'm procrastinating like a pro.)
