Cards from last friday's session.
We have Three peeking around a corner. I'm guessing She's eavesdropping on something.
Then we have another lamp attack card. My lamp popped loose from it's clamp and took a head-dive into my chest. The audience demanded I make a card to commemorate that, so here it is. Pervy Swedish lamps...
Then I drew a random dragon rocking to some tunes. I bet he likes smooth Jazz.
And a random drawing of Dr, Bull, the adorable puppy from my comic. Dr Bull was, of course, actually a human and was said to have a virile yet innocent look about him. So when I drew him I made him into a cute little puppy.
The next one was inspired by the fact that Uriel and I had our anniversary that week, and someone noted that the 14th one was the Ivory one. So I asked Uriel to go fetch me an elephant. So here is Uriel in his Indiana Jones getup with a purloined elephant tusk.
and finally we have a belated Steampunk card for
aramis-dagaz. I forget the guy's name, but he's a mostly human wandering philosopher type. I didn't have to deviate from the design too much really, but I added bling and metallic ink anyway just for effect, The can doesn't pick it up very well but his hair and beard have faint gold sparkles to them as well.
All of these cards are 2.5 x 3.5 images on illustration board. They are colored in copics and gelpens. If you would like to buy one of the cards you see (except for Aramis') let me know. They're a mere $15 plus shipping.
Thanks for another fun evening!

Geeen. I know I haven't made it into your streams lately because RL is going bonkers, but I miss you kindred spirit! Just wanted to give you my heart-felt congratulations on your 14th anniversary with Mr. Uriel! Plus these cards are simply lovely. The lamp attack kind of made my morning. I'll try and sneak into a stream soon and say hello! <3
I understand RL and all and it's cool. I'm grateful for anyone who comes, but I don't expect people to give up their lives to make them.
I still have a mental image of your card idea, mostly your character hefting a sword she's a little too small to manage and about to tumble over. Hey, I'm a comedy writer ;)

Poor lamp. Despite its occasional klutziness, it couldn't be a happier appliance. Its talents are greatly appreciated, it has a place of honor in the drawing room, and gets a front-row seat in your art streams. Not only that, but you gave it two wonderful friends that it stays close to always, Dave the desk and Cambot the maybe-a-Logitech webcam. You gave it a wonderful life, and it knows nothing but gratitude for you. How could it ever express it? Perhaps taking a cue from some of your artwork and overcome with emotion, it decides to go for a simple hug despite a lack of arms. However, being the klutz that it is, it trips and ends up faceplanting into your chest. For all its gratitude and dedication, Lampy has forever been branded the perv lamp. How tragic. :(
*ahem*
The steampunk card was definitely worth the wait. I'm actually impressed by how quickly you were able to grasp the character's (name's Dr. Wilkomm, wandering philosophy professor extraordinaire! Or one lucky itinerant bum and charlatan who's too clever for his own good, take your pick) cheerful and foppish personality, it turned out very well. I look forward to seeing it in all of its shiny glory!

There are so many areas of my work that I would like to improve upon, but emotions and character personalities are natural to me. It's why I have difficulty drawing random nameless characters as they need to mean something to me for me to really give them life.
Just had to pop in and say that I had fun watching you draw :) you are quite talented! I know I said that before..but meh..it is true! and one can not hear too much of the truth!. Wow..I sound like I am laying it on thick..but I am a bit sleep weary and am kinda typing in a babbling kinda way whatever comes to mind. so this is what you get :) me saying I had fun and hope to be able to pop in on another sometime soon!

#4, "Oy! Et looks li' ya got yerself somethin' theyah!"
#5. " Yeah! Not quite the whole tusk, but at least the Elephant is still alive."
#6, "No. You're joking, right? There's a Lion right behind me?"
