I drew this exotic lady inbetween helping customers at Furnal Equinox 2011, and started coloring her at FCN 2011. Finally, I finished!
I was inspired to draw her by  ulariogryphon's parrot-girl series, and by the fact that there are a lot more bird fans coming out of the trees now.
I've always loved birds...I'm so glad so many others are coming forward with their love for our feathered freinds too!

Also, when I started drawing this, I drew a 'parrot' head on my gal (like an amazon), but not a 'macaw' head! They ARE different! Always get referance folks...it really helps! I'm very glad I looked up some pics on Sue's iPad before I started inking. No matter how well you think you know something, a good picture is always better than your memory!
