While reading the Echo visual novel, Beary and Ghost went on Carl's path as their first choice. During the reading, the two saw an illustration of Carl trying to climb up a tree by attempting to do a pull-up on one of the branches to get up. The hyena noticed a tree outside and decided to show Beary that he could do what Carl couldn't. The blue bear was hesitant at first trying to talk Ghost out of it but the hyena was determined already grabbing onto the branch. Beary couldn't help but notice that Ghost's shirt was riding up showing his fat belly. The blue bear wonders if Ghost was trying to show his strength or looking for a reason to have his big gut exposed.
