Don't worry I totally know what I'm doing, see I've got a spreadsheet and everything
If there is one thing most people know about me its that in my professional life I'm a civil engineer, specifically a Geotechnical engineer. This means I specialise in structures that interact with or are constructed from earthen materials (rock, stone, gravel, clay, etc.) such as tunnels, roads, build foundations and dams, though I focus mainly on transport infrastructure. As you can probably imagine it can often be quite hard to explain what all that means and exactly what it is I do every day. So for ages I've had this idea for an artwork showing what my typical workday actually looks like, featuring Athen obviously. And I couldn't have asked for a more talented artist to take up the task. Cereus really knocked this one out of the park, they took my kinda vague idea and brought it to life. I'm so thrilled with the finished piece, everything from the spreadsheet to the construction equipment is exactly how they would look on one of my real life projects. I mean I even own that actual shirt.
