Just a parting shot as I leave for AN (anime north)
My newest hunter, Derriere sends forth her ferocious beast, Spanky!! (all her pets have names dealing with a nice rear end. :)
Not as much background but time consuming all the same. (had this sitting for months, only erased and scanned this morning. :)

I'm loving the extra level of detail you've been putting into your pictures lately, Max. You're a superb line artist and it's nice to see you employing those skills to their full potential. You're also hands-down the finest WoW artist around, but that much is obvious. ;]
My only critique is that the big cat's pose seems a tad unnatural. It's in a full pounce, but somehow still just inches above the ground...maybe I'm just looking at it wrong, but it appears like it's about to fall flat on its face. For the sake of dynamicism and fitting everything in the frame, though, it's forgivable...especially since the kitty looks so cool otherwise. Great work!

This is friggin' awesome! BUT I think having cats as pets when you're a hunter is so friggin' overrated and overdone :C EVERYONE has 'em >_>
Myself I play a night elf huntress who has a wolf as her main pet and i'm planning to get her an owl as well later on ;3

Anime North? Damn, I knew I shoulda went this year X/
I was saving my cash and time for SFX/CNAnime that is coming to Toronto in August. I find that, though it's not as big anime-wise, it's bigger overall, as it has multiple cons going on at once:
-Anime
-Comic
-Sci-fi
-Horror
-Gaming (both video and table)

Yeah I checked out Artist Alley but didn't see you. I haven't seen you since C-ACE 2003, I just remember you're a big *ahem* black dude.
