Happy MerMay, folks! I actually planned ahead on a themed thing for once (shocker!) which resulted in this lovely piece by
Shinkei-Shinto of Duncan as a rubber hippocampus.
...do hippocampi count as mermaids? Feels kind of like they do, since the main qualification is a non-aquatic species with a tail, but I'm not sure if the hoof-hands make them a special subset or move them outside the mer category.
Regardless; Shin did such a great job turning Duncan into a hippocampus! He's so handsome and sexy and shiny, and I love the combination of glossy body and scales and such majestic fins! And I love the accompanying text as well! There's a cheekiness to it that makes me wonder if not being brave enough means you just go in the drink... or if you get TF'ed for being "unworthy" or something as well.
And gosh... Between this and his (NSFW) centaur TF and Gwendolyn's taur TF and not one, but two (NSFW) stories where quadrupedal Lus is being ridden by Gwendolyn, I seem to have a thing for adventurers doubling as steeds. :P
