In the midst of a humid summer night, Jaronas drives across town after borrowing his band's tour van to get to his favorite burger stop, with his friend Candi riding shotgun. With a craving for double stacks and fries too powerful for any other fast food chain, he haphazardly pulls into a parking space, right up against a streetlight, and across a few spots. There's no one else around at this hour to care. Within five minutes, they're both walking back out with enough calories to put an elephant to sleep. No need for plates, they can just pull off to the side of the road and enjoy a slow-burn conversation until dawn.
