I just mean its confusing in the sense that I don't think I'd be comfortable with seeing "my dragon" in such a situation (whether I drew it or not).

Anyway; Monster Hunter. I've been interested in playing the game (I can separate fantasy from reality from other fantasy, so it's not like I can't enjoy those kinds of games, unlike SOME people). But I don't have the requisite game system.

On the other hand, I am running a D&D game where the players will be taking on a dragon--don't have the picture within easy reach, but I folded an origami dragon to use for the fight. It's 19 inches long and only half the size it should be to be appropriately scaled to the minis we use (1 inch = 5 feet). Yes, she's huge. Bigger than all of the Monster Hunter dragons (I don't think any of them even come close to 180 feet long).

They're also going to be fighting an illusionary dragon-god this weekend. X3
It's not part of the module I'm running, but I figure it's appropriate. The mad priest should "show up again" and persuade the PCs to stop killing kobolds. And if that means scaring them out of the mountain via powerful illusion of his god, then so be it. And if the PCs engage and lose the fight, they don't die either. *Evil grin*

He never fights you directly, but the quakes and wind pressure of his steps, his extremely powerful hide, one hit kill MASSIVE tail, and a hipcheck that would win all hockey games forever. As well as a roar that pierces your ears so bad you can't defend against it with any grade of earplug.

You have 30 minutes to kill or repel it by doing enough damage, and causing it to drudge and slow enough times that it doesnt destroy your fort.

There's also several few other massive dragons, but Lao shan deffinately takes that cake.

The thing about monster hunter is you start off with little creatures, then pack leaders, then you fight this adorable derpy chicken dragon called kut-ku. If monster hunter were real, I can deffinately see people growing the balls for it. Fuck people go out on obvious suicide sports and shit and some come home alive. Did you know people still fucking hunt boar with just pikes? Thats pretty fucking scary shit, and I've heard a couple stories of people just getting disembowled and murdered by them, and still people keep hunting them.

I felt traumatized by this, and I couldn't stand to hurt anything after that for 11 years of my life.

Until I was told that if I wanted to eat for a month, I'd have to behead one of our hens.

I could hardly stomach it, I almost gave the hatchet to my uncle, but I treated her like a pet the 4 years we had her. I knew I'd regret letting someone else slaughter her. So I did, and we made the best meal out of her that we could. Since then, I could eat the food I captured without squeamish childishness. Killing her actually taught me the most valuable lesson I think anyone ever has in this world.

Respect what you kill, honor each life's memory, and thank them for it. It's only because of her that I know I can survive without wasting life with guilt and squeamishness, and do the ugly and awful when I need to with confidence.

As much as I love monster hunter, it is pretty obvious you drew this picture to try and piss people off. I'm not one of those people because I think monster hunter is awesome, and it is interesting you decided to have yourself slaying yourself (I'm taking a guess at that).

What validation do you have that I did this to aggravate others?

I know you don't exactly know me and this is probably a huge fucking shock to you but I don't get inspired willy nilly.

I get plenty of meanass ideas for vent or hate drawings, or things made specifically to piss someone off; but I never follow throw. Being a fucking tool like that doesn't exactly get the artistic zen going.

I drew this because I've been playing an assload of monster hunter, and Jarvan in League of Legends, when I did draw it. Loads of motherfucking dragonslaying going on up in that shit, fyi.

It didn't dawn on me until I was at the submission screen that I might get a couple of "oh no poor dragon, but nice picture" responses. Which is fine, it's not the baww of five-thousand suns.

And do pardon me, though, I am quite flattered you thought I did this to piss someone off. I think an artist has only done a good job when they make someone feel. But, again, I drew this for myself after kicking thousands of dragons in the ass and wanting to state my delight in human supremacy through an artistic outlet.

I dont just have weirdos who think they're dragons, watching me, fyi. I have plenty of sane people who, even if they did think they are, know how to differenciate fiction from reality, and understand the blatant natural fact that human beings are the supreme creature.

All you had to say was I was wrong and explain a little bit about the inspiration for this image, I guess you did, but I can also see a lot of really "subtle" words thrown at me and I'm guessing others like me (be it fans of dragons, or people who have taken on the dragon likeness in the community).

That says a lot really about you, and I do hope a lot of your watchers see that too. What I feel the most saddened about isn't the image itself, but how you yourself have grown so twisted and butt-hurt that you needed to take the time not to draw the image, but to reply to me in such a way. Frankly, I was watching you because I think you're a fantastic artist and I enjoy your work, but you've constantly insulted me and become so bigoted because you had bad experiences with dragons or whatever in the fandom. I am down to earth and am far, far from delusional, yet you're far too caught up in your own hatred to take the time and go "Huh, well I may think dragons are bat-shit crazy, but at least they all aren't." You have to remember, on the other side of this computer screen, I know I am human, and I really don't appreciate how you've responded to me, it sounds like you're the one who is taking this dragon thing way too seriously and too far.

All I have done is replied to a journal of yours and tried to make an effort to take a real interest in your work, and I can see I have really wasted my time. Again, don't assume I'm pissed off from the image, because I'm really not, I'm fascinated by morbid works and how you came up with it, but you using me as a conduit to instill rage is getting really old. We get it, you feel wronged and harbor a lot of rage against dragons, it's old news, most of us are here to see dick and tits, you're supply and demand.

Oh, and one last thing before I go before any kind of shit storm surfaces, if this picture really wasn't to piss people off, why the extremely uncreative poem and use of the words "human supremacy"? We know we're humans, it is pretty damn laughable to suggest otherwise, but tacking on the "supremacy" is really tasteless.
