We all strive to create our own personal ideal world. Our utopia. And until a certain moment we live in our dreams, trying to cast our light upon the real world. Until we finally understand that the real world is unfriendly and extremely aggressive towards such dreams. Somnambulism is dangerous. It is dangerous to navigate the real world while trying to illuminate it with our dreams. It is dangerous to stumble upon monsters that you cannot see from under the pink lighting.
However... isn't this the way of life that provides us with the greatest happiness? Not even an imaginary one, not some kind of deceitful fabrication, but real, genuine happiness. One coming from the belief that your endeavors will never end up in vain. So you just keep going. You're tired of this poisonous green color of reality. You want to change something. Thus, walking along the green path illuminated with a pink light, you will either be truly rewarded for the dangers you have taken, or you will pay dearly fecklessly trying to move on. Guess why. The verdant world, under the dream's rosy light, darkens. That's why these are opposite colors. Going down this road is a disastrous idea. Though you may try to outline the ideal utopia in your head, to make a perfect world of the same dreamers, but in the end you'll realize that your very home world, the real air you breathe and the real people you encounter, have never been like this, and your imaginary utopia will be gone leaving you in loneliness and disappointment.
Some things are much deeper and more complex than they might seem at first glance. And trying to figure them out can be as expensive as it can pay off. Maybe this way itself is but a dream. Or rather a nightmare. Maybe this green path isn't what it seems being actually a confusing labyrinth leading nowhere. It's not being aggressive, it's just being. We yearn to bend it to our will, yet what if you tried to adapt yourself instead? What if you created a dream within this dream under the realilty's tyranny? We don't have to fight the world we live in; we are its slaves and will remain so. It is this world that dictates the terms and permits us to pursue our dreams. Those who are able to accept these terms will build their utopia from the blessed pink light bestowed upon them by reality itself. And those who try to fight the reality will die in the green abyss.
