Space...the final frontier.
Patrick Stewart's voice rang through Toccata's head as she stepped through the void. She felt blissfully weightless, drifting along with the solar wind. Shimmering waves of colours floated by, as if the Northern Lights had decided to relocate from the upper atmosphere and put on a show just for her.
Out of nowhere, the Australian shepherd heard a giggle. She looked and saw a tiny five-point star, glowing and vibrating, beckoning to her. She reached out and touched one of its points, delighting as it glowed brighter in response.
As she floated onward, she made a mental note to ask her cousin what was in those cupcakes.
Rhari drew this portrait of Toccata among the stars ages ago. Don't know what put her there, but it clearly hit the spot!
