So here we're getting a bit closer Emma's design - eyes a bit bigger, more of a chin...
And, no, you won't see this sort of thing in the story, because this is from the "back-story", when Emma and Ash were out in the wild and they became lovers.
It was taboo. It would be like an English woman and a Tibetan becoming lovers in the 1800's, or an American woman and a Native back then.
There are no "flash-back" scenes in the story - their past relationship is all implied by dialogue - the sensual and soulful love they had so briefly, and lost. The story starts five years after this with their love a hopeless ruin of the past...

Heeee!
Emma *almost always* has her glasses on - she needs them to read, but more to the point, to write - she's studying everything in "the new world", making copious note and drawings of every plant and animal....until say a certain wolf pushes her into a swimming pond...
It's funny to me how in the last decade or so so many furry girl designs have had these "Benjamin Franklin" glasses added to them... Was it from Steam-Punk influence? ?
Maybe guys/girls just think glasses make people look cute?
...Since i usually wear glasses to draw in the last few years.....Yeah, glasses are sophisticated and sexy!
...well... ^_^

Yeah, computers are no substitute for telepathy...erm..until they can do that...maybe that wont be so good either...
Better than phones (maybe), way better than TV, way lamer than real life.
my eyes are fine some days, some days i need glasses to read or draw...lately the distance focus is bad some days - overdue for an eye exam.
Back in my 20s my best friend, also an artist, went in for an eye exam - got glasses for distance vision. He was shocked! "I always thought that painters who showed the far background in focus were just taking artistic license!!!" Heee!!!
