William was a combat specialist from Castelia City in the Unova Region. His superior officers had known for some time of the activity that was happening in Sinnoh. They had sent him to personally stop this oncoming act of terrorism, else millions would perish. By chance, he ran into Ash and Company on the way to Mt. Coronet and made their way with him together.

Despite doing everything to stop the new terror, every attack William had was useless. Then Cyrus--whatever that thing was--reached out with the red chain and clasped tightly to his mind. It pulled out the darkest fears from the deepest corner of his subconcious and made william's body almost become inside out, his form changing to that of a Sentret.

He was fortunately saved by Agatha from oblivion. Though his duty remained clear to stop Cyrus, William requested that he return to Unova to check on the wreckage of his homeland. If there was anywhere he needed to be right now, it was there. His current whereabouts are unknown.
