I guess this means I'm back on my bullshit, at least once more. This was one of those 'stories,' big air quotes there, that has been knocking around my brain for a spell now and I decided it was time to get it out. This one I've definitely written differently than I would my previous stories. Thanks to my friends, with whom I some RP with, for helping me develop my abilities to write in third person and past tense, and also just for different topics in general. I can't promise it's the most polished thing in the world and I'm sure, even after a few sweeps, that I've definitely missed something, but I'm alright with that for now.
I've also learned how to better format and make my story posts a bit more enjoyable to look at and consume without as much effort. No story in the description, unfortunately. It's a .pdf now for a reason!
Depending on how this is received, I might do a follow-up scene or two. This isn't really part of any overarching plot, more like things I found interesting. Anywho, hopefully you all enjoy!
Synopsis:
A demonstration of the physical and intellectual abilities of the world's first independent, sentient if not sapient, android in a curated laboratory setting is enacted for two of its main benefactors who receive its/his appearance and display of prowess vastly differently.

Nice to see you posting here again.
It's an alright story. It does feel like a piece for a larger story, a prologue meant to set up a novel or a first chapter. It's also a neat demonstration of one of Asimov's three kinds of science fiction. I do wish to see more of this world.
That was my thought when I finished reading this story. Then I saw that you posted a sequel. I'll check it out when I can.
