It doesn't look like it actually says anything. It's elder futhark in a repeated sequence and the markings are backwards. Lol.

I see what you mean. It makes sense as she is in a land in the Far East that it would be picked up for its decorative qualities. Much like Americans use oriental phrases in tattoos and don't really know what they mean.
