It was a while ago, when my bosses told me that they cannot sell my art when I permanently draw the Bad Guys characters from the movie since they are copyrighted.
I asked them what I can do to still draw the characters, or what makes the art being able to be sold when it is still Bad Guys related stuff.
Since there are artists out there who make art with Disney characters on it, too and sell that legally.
My bosses said that when I put the characters into a new context which doesn´t have anything to do with the movie or something, then it would be fine.
For example when I create own characters or when I draw the existing characters in a way that they don´t look like those in the movie anymore.
So I got the idea to create versions of real people that I know but in the style of the Bad Guys movie.
Since I always saw myself as a wolf, I drew myself as one. I just gave myself different clothes and a slightly more brown neige fur tone. Also my eyes are more bluish since I made blue/brown eyes. The clothes I wear here are clothes I really have.
This is drawn with just watercolors.
