Not gonna lie, seeing the subject matter, and particularly after having deciphered a few of the secrets certainly wrenched my gut a bit, that fox is going down a very sad path.

Also curious how a commission like that came about, with it's format being as it is!

It was full artistic freedom from a specific subject/thought matter, artistic freedom also included the character design (the second character if you find it is from a previous commission too). I included the puzzle parts as a surprise but Nupo got to decode all of them before I published the piece. This is scene x3 sized (some of the content of the piece coming from the puzzles, since alone this is like x2.6 or something).

Though the fox is it's own character, it's also supposed to be an embodiment of what affects all of us to some degree: being consumed by consumerism, constant temptation for quick satisfaction, addiction to it and as a result an overwhelming world that further drives us to sink in.
