Koffings are usually loners hovering through the air and eating small flying insects, depending on their size it might even be able to feed up on small birds. But when it’s reproduction time big blooms of koffings fill the skies, attracted by their odor and merging together in a fetid dance. Reproduction is a difficult task, one of the two merging bodies will force the other to give up their energy to feed the eggs. The surviving body due to the exhausting event will enter on a feeding frenzy, trying to eat bigger preys they wouldn’t get near normally. Also a bigger body will require more gases in order to float.
