I was hitting a bit of a wall with the artwork I started yesterday with the old timey Trellian trying to break down a door. Namely, the rested morning me was not nearly as happy with how it was turning out than the late night half asleep me, and I’m going to put that one on the back-burner for a bit and re-approach it later.

Tomorrow will be the one month mark of me being on FA. This journey started for a me a a little before that when I got my new I-pad, and decided I would put it to use for drawing as well as for music. I got the cheapest stylus I could find, picked up Pro-create, and started playing around with the functions. I looked back at the very first drawing I did when I got my stylus, and felt much better about the progress I’ve made over about a month and a half.

It was a big challenge to get the cat to come back and stay still for a second portrait, but I managed. This allowed me to do a side by side and remind myself just how far I’ve come by sticking to at least one drawing a day.
