Okay, so I WAS going to sketch an AU of Mikey with his new look but as I was doing so I realized that I didn't like the directions I gave the turtles. I didn't have anything wrong with their official designs and it was simply the outfits I wanted to give their AU versions. I hesitated because the turtles, at least in Rise, goes inside their shells a few times. Plus, them wearing clothes covers up their markings. But many artist drew them in cool outfits despite this so I ended up just doing what I intended. That and I didn't really have a set idea for their main outfits. But here's what I got.

Considering they start out as newbies, these outfits really reflect that they are not at the level of being top tier ninjas. Also, their outfits reflects their personalities perfectly. You got Raph being a "boss" but also a lovable teddy bear protector, Leo has his fancy outfit to go with his fruity/sassy ass, Mikey's shows off his creativity and energy, and Donnie got that mad scientist look down. I feel comfortable now saying that these would be their new look for their "season 1" appearance. Outside of Raph having a tail, I'm not gonna change their details like I had previously with Raph and Leo.

Their mystic weapons remains the same and Donnie still rejects his over his tech. However, I plan to give that mystic halberd to my oc Lorenzo, which transforms into a slingshot. I think it'll be cool cause that way, that last mystic weapon doesn't go to waste and considering that my oc wears a bit of purple, it makes sense.

I'll have to redo the sketch of them but at least I righted my wrongs. ^^
