So this is the second mouse my cat has found in our basement. He killed the first one (which was bigger than this one) and this one was chased into our living room, then dining room where I picked him up (with a napkin) and put him in an old rat carrier from when I owned my own little critters.

This guy is lucky I noticed he was alive. My dad had ordered me to broom him to death if he wasn't already dead. I didn't have the heart too. He will be released in a field far away from the house.

My dad's already called the exterminator, so this guy's family is not so lucky.
